"This place was amazing, from the fabulous rooms to the friendly, attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Patricia, Mariana, Anna, Ines and Andeeia went above and beyond our expectations. In all our travels we have never experienced this level of hospitality, from the free wine & cheese evening (with occasional entertainment) to the immaculate room cleaning. Add in a family of peacocks and you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, the perfect place to explore Lisbon, Sintra and its surrounding towns. We will definitely visit again."

"What a gem. Beautiful setting and grounds, and the perfect blend of a little bit vintage with great updates. (Rainfall shower heads! ) Rue and his son went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Early check in when I arrived , no problem. When I came in out of the rain, they put my clothes in the dryer. I had an early departure , they arranged a taxi for me and made me a sandwich to take as I left before breakfast was served . Lovely hotel and lovely people . "
