We stayed here for 1 night Location: 5/5 The hotel was just beside Akita Station Rooms: 4/5 The room was a twin room with an extra bed for the 3 of us. The toilet was rather big but for some reason they chose to include a glass window to see into the toilet with a curtain to cover it. Staff: 4/5 The staff were typical of the Japanese customer service you’ll expect. Value for Money: 4/5

Convenient to Akita Station
Pleasant hotel close to the station. Good shopping nearby. Difficult to converse with reception staff as l don’t speak Japanese, which makes it my problem, really. Ridiculously expensive prices for drinks in the hotel bar.

I like the location of property right next to train station. I don't like the furniture arrangement makes the room feels cramp in the deluxe twin room. The bathroom is small and the hotel is dated.

Convenient as it is next to the train & bus station but it is not noisy. Also many shops & restaurants close by. Friendly & helpful staff, with limited English. I would stay here again.

Good hotel, right at the train station. Good access to buses as well. Plenty of food options nearby. Within walking distance of a lovely park, Senshukoen. I had intended Akita to be simply a place to sleep for one night but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my day there.

Hotel Near The Train Station.
My teenage son and I had a comfortable stay here at Hotel Metropolitan Akita when we had a pilgrimale to our Lady of Akita. It is located few steps away from the Akita Train Station and from the bus station. So may restaurants also around the area.

One night in Akita
Really great hotel staff, superb location right between the train station and the main city park. Very clean as you would expect. So much to do in Akita, dont miss the art gallery, possibly the best tea and cake with a superb view over the park entrance.

ホテル、スタッフ、備品等は良かったです。 秋田駅周辺は少し寂しかったです。 車で行ったのですが、ホテルの裏に駐車場があるのを知らず。有料パーキングに停めたら2700円とられました。 ホテルスタッフから駐車場の案内はありました。 皆さまお気を付け下さい。ホテル駐車場も有料ですが格安です。 一点だけトイレの便器外側にに汚物が付着していました。その点だけが少し不快でした。

JR秋田駅に隣接しているので交通の便は良いです。また秋田駅の駅ビルでほとんどのお土産が購入できます。1階にはスタバとセブンイレブンがあるのでこれも良いです。
