"This is an older, but well-maintained property. The rooms are much bigger and better equipped than the equivalently-priced business or tourist hotel. No restaurant, but very reasonably priced meals can be ordered in the room, mainly through a Japanese-only TV system. Staff were very helpful with extra towels, parking issues, and meals were delivered punctually at the requested time. "Good size room. Has its own washer, kitchen, and L-shape couch. A little dusty which I find very strange for a japanese property as they’re always clean. No iron.
Location is not ideal for tourists. It’s a 20-min walk from Hiroshima station to the hotel. We were with a local (my nephew) which made it a bit easier. I would get a hotel closer to the train station next time.

"I had a busy week and wanted to just relax to recharge myself. The staff understood my needs and made my stay extremely comfortable by bringing a room key enabled for an additional day to stay in the same room and listening to my needs. It was “in the moment” decision and I did not want to be bothered by going to the reception area to change the key.
