They assigned me a person driver to pick me up from the airport and a tour guide, I asked about food on the way from the airport to the hotel and they held the kitchen open for me to arrive. All staff were very kind and protective of me, as I traveled to Cairo alone. My driver escorted me on all my excursions, he protected me from scammers and so did my guide. I was very fortunate...

“This is a great budget hotel for the price. Note you pay for food and drink at 1st world hotel prices, so plan accordingly. Housekeeping is extra and upon request. However, it has the best view of the Spinx and pyramids and the gate to the Giza complex is a short 5-minute walk through child hawkers selling Knick knacks and tour touters selling packages. Everyone is trying to sell you something so prepare yourself for that too. Ask the hotel manager Ahmed to make some tour arrangements for you...
