"The hotel is great. I did have a problem with my second key card which never worked even after getting it replaced. Other than that, it was quiet and peaceful. "

"Just minutes to walk along the bay, it’s the only location near the airport that you can feel safe walking in the evening. They are renovating their rooms and lobby and it’s looking really good. Staff was very helpful both times we’ve stayed there and we intend to stay there again when we visit the Bay Area. "

"Parking was $51 which is ridiculous. I asked for a luggage cart and porter left to go get one and never returned so we had to carry our bins up to our room. Lastly, someone was smoking weed on our floor and it was aweful - the whole floor stunk. I would not stay here again"

"Hard to believe it took me decades to find this spot! Area felt safe. Great view. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and hot. Easy access to waterfront trail."

"I should have trusted prior reviews of this place as being a bit out-dated and run down, it certainly could use some paint and a little more TLC, however it is in a great location, beach is just across the street, and a nice shopping center with many cute stores/ wide variety of resturaunts and food choices across the other street. Overall, our goal was to just have a place to sleep in between the daily activities, and Coral Reef Inn met that need at a reasonable price. "
