And good spread for breakfast buffet. 1 thing I didn’t like: the loud music that kept me up until midnight. I chose Himare because according to my research, it’s quiet and less parties. I guess it wasn’t the case during my stay.”

“This may be the only time a hotel far exceeded its photos and website. What a beautiful property! And the staff were always kind and helpful, yet without being overbearing and fussy. Special kudos to Frensis and Don (??) at the reception desk. Our room was spotless and offered all the amenities we needed. Other reviews have mentioned small rooms and showers or furniture that should be updated. But we found quite the opposite—a large, sparkling room and bathroom, with clean, spare, modern decor....
“Staff went above and beyond for us throughout our stay. It is a beautiful location in the mountains, and the pool is great with gorgeous view of the sea. However, be aware the property lacks amenities. We arrived at 4pm very hungry and were told the kitchen was closed until 7pm and there is no place to purchase any sort of snacks or food outside of restaurant service and they could do nothing for us except to say sorry.
