Good location but uncomfortable beds

I booked this accomodation 3 weeks ahead, during booking I have clearly stated in special instructions section about my kids and ages and booked a 2 bedroom unit. I was confirmed about my booking and paid fully. On the day we arrived , I was told to pay extra 270 dollar for kids as apparently this is a 2 adult payment that I paid. If I was informed about this earlier , I had option to cancel or choose accommodation that I feel worthwhile to pay for. I felt very unfair that I was told on that day. The property manager was not welcoming and leaving informations under the door about above and that the police will be called if we block a parked car etc. the beds were terrible, we could not sleep most nights , one bedroom was in attic type so felt suffocated ( room 22). It is not valued at all for what we paid at the end.

OK for passing the night, experience wasn’t 4-star

Pluses: Close to the beach Open garage parking Within close walking distance to food and beach Minuses: Maintenance issues: I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment which had noisy kitchen and bathroom taps/plumbing. It appears, reading through past reviews, I’m not the first experiencing this. I find this quite appalling for customer experience. Presentation/experience wasn’t quite 4-star: The 2-bedroom apartment I got looked and smelt a bit dated. I wouldn’t call my experience 4-star. I might consider other options next time.

Near beach food very peaceful location

We had three nights Everything was excellent from time of booking in Didn't see staff in this time but had no reason to Staff pleasant on leaving Rang next day as lost a gold chain staff so helpful said they would look for it and ring me. Rang them back next day to say I had found it and they were not concerned about the time they had spent looking for it just happy I had found it. Would definitely stay again

Luxury: NO

Luxury accommodation it is not. In need of update desperately. Cheap horrible furniture which was chipped & stained. Carpet was filthy, you only had to look at bottom of your socks after a few minutes to see this. Curtains were outdated, faded & grubby looking. We were in a sister property, not main one, which is advertised (it looked much better) no nice gardens where we stayed. On checking out I voiced my opinion, only to be told it will be passed on to manager. When I complained about the terrible furniture (lounge was also ripped) I was told they couldn't do anything about it as they were privately owned & owners didn't want to spend money. Fine, but how dare they charge so much, I wouldn't have paid even 1/2 what we did, & the manager should not represent a property in such a poor condition.

The apartments are well situated, close to gorgeous Middleton Beach and the new ANZAC centre. However we thought the apartment we stayed in was tired and in need of an upgrade and a new cleaner.

Stunning French Village Style!

Abosultely cute and cosy little French style village at Middleton Beach Albany. Very clean and comfortable.
