"Do not recommend staying here at all. I accidentally broke a glass dish in the kitchenette of my room and when I asked if someone could be sent to clean it up for me Mark from the front desk told me it would be taken care of due to the safety issue. I went out for just under an hour and when I returned to the property Mark told me the glass had been removed and introduced me to Emma Xu from housekeeping who had taken care of it. They then asked me to write a Google review for their property and requested I take pictures of their name tags to remember their names. When I returned to my room, most of the glass had been cleaned but there was a significant amount of glass remaining around and under table/chair legs, in corners, and on the couch. I went downstairs and notified Mark that there was still glass on the floor and he once again told me it would be taken care of. I returned over an hour later and I did not notice a difference in the amount of glass on the floor. This was unacceptable, lazy, and dangerous of them. I left in the morning at the end of my stay. The rooms are obviously not well maintained as it took over 10 minutes to get hot water the first time I used the shower, there was a significant amount of limescale in the dishwasher, and the bidet gives a musty odor every time the toilet is used. The lighting throughout was also very poor. Not a good use of my money, I expected better from a Coast Hotels property that is located in the downtown area of a major city"

"This hotel was centrally located for my plans. The room was large and comfortable but dark. The lighting just wasn’t great when so sat at the desk to work. It was fine for a 1 night stay but not sure I would choose for longer."

"The rooms are immaculately clean and the property is well maintained, but everything is absolutely tiny. Out of dozens of 3-4 start properties across Canada, this is the smallest (and most poorly laid out) room I have ever experienced. The air conditioners are a complete joke... do not go here expecting to leave the AC on at night. It's one of those ancient 1980s era units that sits under the window, and it literally sounds like an Apache helicopter is trying to take off in your livingroom every time the thing turns on at night. I guarantee it will wake you every single time. I have coworkers who refuse to stay at this hotel (despite being close to our office) for that reason alone."

"The hotel felt very safe and secure despite its central downtown location. The room was clean, comfortable, and the shower had a low shelf that was very handy for shaving your legs! There were a variety of options for breakfast including hot oatmeal, eggs, waffles, and more. We also appreciated the ice cold lemon water that was available in the lobby at all times. The fitness room was small but clean, and very functional with treadmills, ellipticals, dumbbells and a bench. Would definitely stay here again."
