“We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!”

“This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. Guiseppe is a 6th gen wine maker who is making wine...

“This is very cozy place near Taormina. It is not located at the heart of Taormina, but it is very close with resonable price. If you have a car, i definitely recommend you. I didn't rent a car, but there is no problem to visit Taormina and Giardini Naxos by bus, just be patience a little bit more. Paula is very kind lady, she can help you everything with google translate if you cannot speak Italian like me.”

Ferdinando was incredibly helpful and welcoming; he met me outside on arrival and personally showed me to the room, which made check-in very easy. The room was spotless, newly renovated, and beautifully done. Mine opened directly onto the garden, which was such a lovely bonus.
