"Very well located in Old Town, Alexandria. Room was quite large and the bathroom was nice. Very well soundproofed; no street noise, no noise from the hall or from a neighboring room. I thought it was good value for the price.
Only one drawback: my cell phone service didn't work inside the room. I asked about it at reception. I was told that most guests complain of no cell service. As I could get one bar when I stood right up to the window (which doesn't open), I suspect that it's the thickness of the concrete walls and the small size of the windows that block cell transmission. But of course the hotel provided good WiFI and computer calls were therefore possible."
