"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Great apartment! I appreciated the great communication from my host, Nuno - he provided all the necessary instructions prior to my visit & also made sure I was comfortable when I arrived. They used self - check in & check out with all instructions clearly explained - all went fine !! "The staff were as nice as the beauty of the hotel. The indoor and outdoor pools were beautiful and walking easily to the beach and shops were lovely. A few things that the hotel can do to make the stay even better: 1) turn the outdoor pool lights on at night, pool is open until 12am but it’s dark, so not safe. 2) change a few items each day at breakfast.
