Park Dedeman is a great hotel to stay for business and vacation. Location is not exactly the best, but very affordable price to stay balances all that. I reserved two rooms, but one had problems with electricity. One of the female staff (It pains me that I forgot her name... I should've written it down somewhere) assisted us to switch rooms without zero hassle and friction. There's also a spa and gym you can use. Just a few steps outside, there is a mall, cafes and a few restaurant chains you can enjoy. Overall, we had very pleasent stay.

Superb hotel near an exceptional Botanical Garden

I loved this hotel because it was at 5 min walking distance to the huge Botanical Garden full of trees, flowers, birds, ... and you could visit this Garden from 9 AM to 9 PM. As Almaty is very big as town, I found it important to have such an interesting huge Garden near. It looked like a huge forest with a lot of beautiful trees arranged in alleys, and at the entrance had also very pretty flowers. The hotel has also an excellent swimming pool and sauna as well as rooms with Mountain views or Garden views. I am fully recommending this hotel.

Park Dedeman Almaty offers superior experience services compared to the average Almaty hotel. The English-speaking staff facilitated smooth communication. While the room was clean and comfortable, I think it could benefit more from additional amenities to improve and meet international hotel standards. The breakfast buffet provided minimal options and was very limited. The absence of bidet sprays in the bathroom and the lack of a welcoming lobby area were noticeable shortcomings. Additionally, the check-in and check-out processes could be streamlined for greater efficiency.

Comfortable stay in Almaty

The staffs were English-speaking and we had no problems communicating with them. The hotel room was clean and I had no problems. However, on the first day I arrived, there was no hot water in the shower, only cold water. The hotel said it was due to maintenance, so it could not be helped, but it was a little disappointing after a long plane ride. The next morning, the hot water came out of the shower without any problem. I ordered room service at the hotel for dinner, which was very good. There is a shopping center around the hotel, which is very convenient.

The mountain view from the restaurant floor of the hotel is excellent. Hotel staff are very helpful and willing. However, the hotel does not have a nice lobby. Check-in and check-out process takes too long. Get up early if you don't want to miss your flight. The water in the bathroom in my room was constantly getting cold and hot. That's why my shower experience was so bad.

This was the hotel from $#$. I booked the room because it has a pool and spa. Neither were open the first day and only the spa on the second day. I never had anyone clean the room or supply fresh towels. I saw a cart outside so took some towels from there. The restaurant has good food but the workers do not care about the job. It took forever for me to get seated. The workers acted like I was bothering them. Breakfast is supposed to come with a made to order omelet, scrambled eggs, etc. No one came to offer the eggs and when I asked, I was ignored. This is a beautiful hotel but the workers make it not worth visiting. The lack of advertised amenities, makes it not worth visiting. If you want a bar, be warned, it is part of the reception area.
