"Definitely hard to find but worth it. Well planned with lots of lovely features. A simple map with your WhatsApp would help a lot. Great wine list, imaginative food perhaps one or two simpler dishes would be good. Great views from our terrace. The tap by the wash basin is not practical. Overall a great achievement by the owners."

"This is a lovely place once you find it - it’s a bit off the beaten track. Nice gardens and setting but nobody there. The housekeeper met us as we arrived at midday but she didn’t know which room we were supposed to be in so sent us away and said check in was at 2. Our room was big enough with nice bathroom and separate terrace which opened onto the garden and pool area. Another couple arrived about 8.30 the following night and nobody was there to meet them. Reviews mention wonderful hosts but we were there 2 days and never saw them. The ladies who we did see and who made breakfast were very friendly and helpful. "

"Great location in Altea for the sea front and restaurants. 10 minutes hike up to the old town well worth it. Parking free at the small station nearby. Some great restaurants in the town. The room was fine but needs a 5 foot bed. Bit noisy but not bad as on the main road. The shower ,wifi etc were excellent. Would stay again. "

"This was a great spot to stay while visiting family in the area. Convenient location, stylish rooms and very comfortable. "

"Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected. A kettle would have been a bonus but hopefully in the upgrades this will be available. We loved stunning Altea - and the view from the roof was amazing, we would definitely come back to the area. I think the Hostel will be out of our budget next time tho. The restaurant below was very friendly and food very good. Well worth a visit. Limited parking as busy but we managed to park behind the hostel in free on road parking. "
