"I remember the original incarnation of this hotel and the transition has been well done. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about the Tree House servers and Kelsie at front desk and Leroy for the airport transfer. At this point there is only one restaurant. It has a somewhat limited menu and the dishes are somewhat inconsistent; however when they get it right it's very good. The newly renovated rooms are "clean" in design, however some basic functions are missing (clothes storage, hooks, comfortable work chair, non-functioning outlets). Pillows were not comfortable. As a business traveler it was not ideal, (no business centre facilities, suitable work chair as mentioned), but if you are on holiday in Belize City you will appreciate this property."

"This resort is truly amazing. It feels like an exotic experience like no other resorts. The mosaic patterns throughout the resort are so unique. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and treated like family especially by Melanie, Sandy and Gloria. The food was so fresh and delicious. I had a massage which was excellent! We highly recommend treating yourself to this wonderful Abeeza Resort and Spa!!"

"OMG, the Palms is a Belize City hidden gym! We were concerned with the reputation that Belize City has and were instantly put to ease upon arrival! Our pick up transportation from the water taxi was easy to schedule and they were awesome accommodating us as a large group! From start to finish they communicated so easily, went beyond the call of duty to make sure we ate, were comfortable and had everything we needed! The rooms and the beds alone were more than we imagined and my family of 12 were beyond pleased! If you are looking at staying in Belize City, don’t think twice."

"The food was delicious in their restaurant, the property itself is beautiful, and the staff were all so helpful and nice. Most important of all was the comfortable beds. We have already booked for a stay when we return."

"I felt fortunate to stay at the Triggerfish B&B. After a very long travel day from US with delayed flights, missed water taxi and sold out flights to ambergris caye, i found this B&B gem approx 7-9 mins from airport. The place was immaculate and located on a canal with lots of birds. The hosts, Cathy and Dan, are wonderful people. Cathy’s hospitality is top notch as well as her cooking. Tip: black bean chipotle burger for dinner and fry jacks for breakfast….mmmmmm. The room is very comfortable, chills down nicely with AC and a great shower. The screened porch is nice to hang out on in the evening. I highly recommend the Triggerfish. And I felt safe as a female solo traveler."
