Hasan Bey’in nazik karşılamasıyla başlayan süreç, tertemiz ve zevkle döşenmiş oda, leziz serpme kahvaltı ve harika nehir manzarasıyla devam etti. Tüm odalar dolu olmasına rağmen hiç gürültüye maruz kalmadık. Otel Amasya’nın en işlek yerlerinden birinde fakat Amasya halkı korna kullanmamaya yemin etmiş gibiydi. Halk sakin, şehir içinde trafik lambası çok çok az olmasına rağmen yan yollarda araçlar beklemiyor, anayoldaki sürücüler direkt onlara yol veriyorlar. Gençler pırıl pırıl, modern ve kendi halindeler. Küfür yok, eşkiyalık yok, dik bakış yok. Yan masada oturanların ne konuştuğu duyulmuyor, herkes sakin, saygılı, efendi. Yöresel ürünlerin satıldığı yerlerde dahil gürültü yok. Esnaf kapıda güleryüzle, ikramla bekliyor ama çığırtkanlık yapmıyor. Ses üstüne ses binmiyor. Gerçek Anadolu medeniyeti bu ise çoğumuz diğer şehirlerde yozlaşmanın göbeğinde beyhude yıpranıyoruz. Otele gelirsek fiyatların orantısız artmamasını umarak söylüyorum ki 10 üzerinden yıldızlı 10’u hakediyor.
