"The property is one of a kind with its natural caves. Christophe the host along with his dog and cat make you feel welcome upon arrival. The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. With a swimming pool surrounded by natural rock and rooms that are one of a kind, it is worth staying at Le Clos de l'Hermitage."

"Very nice new facility and comes with a well supplied optional breakfast. The only downside is the location. It is quite a walk across the bridge to the main part of the village. We therefore ended up driving over and and parking in the free parking area to go out to dinner each night."

"Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"The family suite at La Manoir St. Thomas was absolutely lovely and had all the amenities we needed (we were traveling with two teenagers). The room was spacious and the staff at the hotel were warm and hospitable. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do in town. The parking was easy to use and centrally located. Everything about our stay was perfect!"

"Our visit here was excellent. The property seems extraordinarily new or recently refurbished. The room was quite large given its close proximity to the downtown streets of Amboise. The staff were extremely pleasant and you could tell they are well trained/coached on ensuring positive guest experience. I would highly recommend a stay here. "
