"The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel."

"A lot of ants inside the room. We needed to pay for the air conditioning 8€ per day which is not in the description. We stayed 3 days and the day after we asked for towels change then they said they change towels every 2 days. After 2 days we asked for new towels then I had to hear that i got only 1 day left before check out and they don’t charge towels when we got only 1 day left. Really weird rules. "

"The apartment is right by the beach which is perfect! Upon arrival (12:00) we received a warm welcome. We were taken to the bar since we arrived quite early. They had given us a banana/fruit drink while we waited for our room to be ready. We sat down and enjoyed the ocean view. Approximately at 13:00 we went up to our room. "We very much enjoyed our stay at Villiana. The sea view from our large terrace was incredible. Our kids had lots of fun in the pool. The room was great: large, clean with a well-supplied kitchen. "Fabulous place to stay! Apartments were spacious, spotless and well equipped. Staff were very helpful. Pool was beautiful but needed access to drinks and snacks. The sunbeds were mainly in the shade which is lovely, but would benefit from some sunny areas. Located with easy reach to a small but beautiful beach with tavernas, bar and small shop. Not far from Eloundas, Agios Nikolas and other . Would definitely recommend. "
