Clean rooms, nice marble/tile bathroom that was clean and modern. The staff was very kind and very friendly. Pool was easy to access, 1 mile away from Disneyland Park with shuttle walkable distance from the Hotel. I’d definitely recommend. Although, hotel parking fee was more than usual fees.

A friend and I stayed at the JW during a recent trip to Disneyland. We are so glad we chose this hotel. The hotel is stunning, immaculate and so comfortable. Their market is a perfect place to grab a quick bite for breakfast and a coffee before heading out to the parks. The hotel has a daily fee which includes a $20 credit to use at the market or the onsite restaurants or bar. The JW is conveniently located across the street from the Toy Story parking lot. There is a free shuttle from that lot to Disneyland. If you choose to walk, it only takes about 15 minutes. I enjoy nice hotels and usually stay at the Grand Californian, if it’s available, The JW will probably be my first choice in the area from now on.

Beautiful, very luxurious clean, and well-maintained hotel with excellent, attentive, and welcoming staff. However, I was disappointed by the additional fees: no welcoming water to drink no complimentary breakfast cost $40 per person, VIP parking was $69, and additional resort fee was $40 a night. These costs should be clearly disclosed upfront during 3rd party upon booking process.

The accomodations at the JW were very nice: room was comfortable and the hotel was great overall (starbucks downstairs was very convenient). However, I was not impressed by the food quality and variety at the hotel. The rooftop bar was pretty cool and it was convenient if you want to walk around the Garden Walk area.

We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriot in Anaheim. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's about a 6 minute walk to the Disney shuttle bus. My only complaint is the mandatory valet parking that costs $70 a day. In the future that's something I will check before reserving a stay.

Staff are super kind and helpful. Cleaning staff were exceptional. Be careful of hidden fees or ask for clarification for $20 vouchers which can catch you if you don’t know the refresh times. Shower head was not great. But there was a super cute note and macarons given for our “mini honeymoon”. So 100% will stay here again in the future.

TL;DR - the hotel is pretty great with the staff, food, environment and a steal if you can get a good deal on a room The hotel is super conveniently placed. Just a quick jaunt over to Disneyland, and it's connected to the mall. During our stay there was a festival in the mall with amazing street food. Also, being in Anaheim it's a convenient location if you're looking to do various day trips throughout the LA area and only 1.5 hrs from San Diego. The breakfast buffet is quite good, but a little pricey. Think Carribean all inclusive quality. All of the staff are super nice, helpful, and responsive which is fairly refreshing for a hotel in the US. In general it's also pretty quiet, tranquil, and relaxing. A nice break from the chaos that is Disney. Downsides: the pool was fairly cold and is almost always 100% in the shade. The pool area is part of the bar which also serves food, so you cannot bring your own food in the area. The price of a room is quite high unless you find a deal. I can't say I would stay here at full price.
