“Wonderful hotel with everything you could wish for. I had a cosy, nicely furnished flat with a wonderful view of the castle and the sea from the private green terrace belonging to the flat. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure I felt comfortable. The hotel is perfectly located between the harbour with the town beach and the beautiful town with the castle on top of the hill, all within walking distance.”

“The location of the property was amazing, the view was priceless. There was an error with our booking and we needed an extra night and we were accommodated, which was greatly appreciated. The property was poorly maintained and not very clean. The rooms are not serviced. We were able to ask for what we needed, towels, extra linen. We were able to clean our room and the floor ourselves when required. Overall we had a great stay and the room accommodated our family of four. ”

“I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chrysalis in Astypalaia. The staff were absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was beautiful, and the view from the balcony was nothing short of magical!! One thing to keep in mind: if you book extra services like car rental or a massage, these are paid in cash, so it’s worth being prepared. Overall, a perfect stay and I would definitely return!”

Breakfast had new additions daily using local products as much as possible. Above all Maria is the most pleasant and accommodating host ever!!!!
