“I'll start with the good. Pension Iturrizza is in a superb location in San Sebastian's Old Town. It's on a quiet side street near a church, very close to excellent dining (which is everywhere) and steps from the dock, beach and aquarium. It's hard to imagine finding something so convenient for what is a very good price. If all you want is a place to drop your bags and have a place to sleep, go for it. You probably won't be disappointed. Unfortunately, I can't give more than three stars for two...

“We spent one day in San Sebastian and wished we'd stay for at least another night. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and it was lovely to hear the water as we walked around. The public bus is a 3-stop ride to the old town. Uber doesn't work well as there aren't many drivers. Taxis are reasonable but we liked the bus as you don't need to buy a transit card to ride, just use your credit card to pay the fare. We were fortunate to have arrived on the second night of the city's Semana...

“Definitely a pensioner room, comfortable room, and A/C which is KEY in the summer! Very very clean, and super convenient to Old Town. Located on a very busy corner but windows very effective in keeping noise down. Would love to try another room with maybe a bigger refrigerator and kitchen/microwave. Had to eat out every time, glad the food was amazing”
