“Great food, Great staff, extremely comfy bed. What's not to like. ”

“Found the place expensive £7 a pint, and £13.50 for a breakfast, which we didn’t bother with.Also the room I paid for double room with an extra single bed, had been given to someone else, which by the way I had phoned up two days previous to verify I had.Staff I spoke too were nice, but I would never go back there.”

“Very expensive for what it is, room very dark and gloomy, needed lights day and night, shower leaked out on the floor also very difficult to use, especially for ladies that don’t want to get there hair wet, we were charged for breakfast that we didn’t have, we went for my husband 80 th, and I asked if they could do a cake or something, and the waitress ( seemed embarrassed) 1 scoop of ice cream on a plate with happy birthday scrolled on and a very small sparkler it was really pathetic.”

“We had a lovely stay. Andrew was a great host and showed us everything we needed. The bar was humming and our dinner was fabulous. We had a great nights sleep. The renovated bathroom was excellent and had a nice big shower. Room 2 was lovely overall. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.. Overall we had a lovely overnight stay at the Cricketers Inn and would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. ”

“We had a lovely stay at the High Corner Inn. It is a lovely pub in a beautiful area of the New Forest. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast in the pub. As it is right in the new forest, our stay was peaceful and there are plenty of walking routes. It was also nice to see the New Forest ponies wondering around the surrounding area of the Inn.”
