This property is beautiful and perfect for families. The ONLY issue is mattresses on beds. Not very comfortable which is surprising considering reputation of Bemsaude Hotels. Has a large pool and pool bar. It also has indoor pool and hot tub, along with a gym. Breakfast buffet is ok. Dining at bar/restaurant is good. Walking distance to town to all shops and dining options. Again, this is perfect for families and large groups.

Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean. The staff were very, very, friendly and helpful. While the hotel room was very clean, the bathrooms are quite outdated. I would recommend some remodeling at some point as it appears that the actual bedrooms may have been remodeled but the bathrooms are still outdated.

Lovely view

Lovely hotel with a nice pool and a beautiful view. Just a few minutes walk into town. Tours pick up at this hotel. Restaurant was buffet though smaller items were available in the bar.

Amazing stay

This hotel is awesome! It appeared that all the rooms on the ocean side had a small balcony to enjoy the views & sea breeze. We basically had the pent house room/suite & it was phenomenal 😊 The infinity pool & pool bar are so enjoyable & the staff were all very kind & helpful. I hope we get to come back some day.

We stayed at the Terra Nostra Garden in Furnas and we were very impressed. The Terceira Mar staff could learn a few things from their sister hotel. The staff was very rude, especially the front desk staff.

Amazing service

Best service ever from our receptionist, she was amazingly acommodating and really helped us have the best experience. We had to depart early and even got super cute breakfast boxes made just for us.

Terciera is a small island and you get a small island feel from the hotel. The property itself is in good condition and the food was good. Service was a bit slow, but that was expected given that most of the bar staff are brand new. I would return again to this hotel.

Terceira Mar Hotel is a short walk from the heart of Angra de Heroismo and yet the views from the rooms and front of house areas are quite simply stunning. The food was good, standard buffet fare, however, the bedrooms are very nice, all seaward facing offering good space and in my case an enormous bed which I loved. I found the staff friendly and attentive. This hotel truly earns its four stars.
