“Don't follow GPS!!! The road is closed in front of the hotel and you have to look at the map instead. We were very lost forever late at night. Having said that once we were there it was perfect. ”

“Fantastic value. Room is very clean, beds comfortable and very generous breakfast. The hostesses are wonderful. It’s an older building so, no elevator and narrow staircase to navigate. Excellent WiFi and TV with standard streaming apps. Large ensuite. This isn’t a 5 star hotel but it is excellent value. I would stay again.”

“A lovely, quirky place to stay! Really convenient for Ghent centre, with parking and EV charging. We were in the Captain’s cabin which was great for the three of us. Breakfast was very nice too. Only improvement would have been the shower room. The drain couldn’t keep up with the shower which meant you had to paddle about for a good while after anyone had a shower (the toilet was in there too!). Condensation issues in there led to a bit of mould too on the walls. Decor everywhere else was...

“The location is excellent, and the rooms are spacious. However, the room was not properly cleaned, and there is no air conditioning, making it extremely hot during the heat wave. There is also no elevator, so reaching the 4th floor meant climbing more than 80 stairs. Keep that in mind if you're traveling with heavy luggage or have mobility issues.”
