Comfortable place to stay

The stay was good. It was a studio apartment with good lighting. You also get some utensils to cook if you wish, a small refrigerator and a microwave, all clean and in good condition. Unfortunately, the blankets provided to us were not so wide and could only cover so much leaving some spaces on side. There is also ample storage in the wardrobe alongwith a bath tub and a separate toilet. Sadly, even the slightest sound or movie inside the gallery felt so loud.

Pros: The room was alright with two single beds, a full wall of windows to let in lots of light, a small couch, a small kitchen, and separate rooms for the toilet and bath. It's located within a reasonable distance from both the central station and the city centre so you can easily walk everywhere or get to public transportation. Cons: The room wasn't exactly what I would call super clean, though not super dirty either, it's definitely old with cracks and holes in a few places so it could use some renovations, but everything is functional. I didn't need to use the kitchen so I don't know how well that worked, but the fridge worked just fine. The mattresses and pillows on the two beds were pretty different so that was a little weird, but since I was alone I just used the better one. There is some noise from the street below but that didn't bother me. Be aware that there is no a/c, so in summer you need to keep the windows open and turn on the little table fan on the bedside table, but that was good enough for me. There is also only staff on site for a couple of hours every day, so don't expect to have someone there all day. I would rate it 3.5/5 - fine for a few nights but with room for improvement.

Surprisingly nice stay

Hotel was A LOT better than the reviews show. I have a feeling a new property management company has taken over the building and cleaned it up. It was an apartment building turned into rooms. When we arrived we actually were greeted by a nice women in the office who gave us our key. Kitchen we also very helpful and had basic items. I'd stay there again for sure! Also, area seemed pretty safe... there were kids and families running around the streets late at night.

Business stay in Ambassador Suites

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past for business, and have found the facility well-suited to my needs. I should point out that it lacks air-conditioning and there were days that it was very hot. In addition, only one of the two elevators works, and only one of the two windows in the room. Very roomy and well-suited for business meetings (couch, dining room table, chairs, living room table) as well as for self-catering (kitchenette well-equipped). Also very close to central train station (7 minute walk)

Reception is 2 to 3 hours daily if you have an issue no one is there to help. Shower area was smelly & rough, No shower gel/ Shampoo we did buy our own. I had parking for 3 days but charged for 4 days which is rip off really. They mentioned this is their rule you have to pay for the parking for whole booking even you are not using. I would strongly not recommend this place for your family holidays. Thanks

Aan deze prijs kan je echt niet kritisch doen. Zo'n goedkope kamer had ik niet zo groot verwacht, met alles erop en eraan! Ik was er tijdens de hittegolf en er stond een ventilator klaar, dat was heel fijn.

Total bait-and-switch charging premium rates for what is actually a substandard budget hostel. The room was completely uninhabitable due to major safety and sanitary issues. The shower has no drain slope and immediately floods the bathroom floor, the toilet is unanchored and dangerously unstable, and the bathroom had live insects. Supplementary amenities like the fan were also broken and unsafe. Completely unacceptable.
