A gem of a place

Lovely find. Building is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The service from Kurt was excellent, really helpful and personal which added a nice touch to an overall lovely stay. Will definitely be back!

This is a special stat. With easy self check in? A stunning room, and the best breakfast hosted by Kurt who puts his heart and soul into this privately owned place. There’s not a sign of corporate and yet the standard of one.

Really cool rooms with a great host who was super knowledgeable and able to help out on things to do not only in Mechelen but all of Belgium. Easy to get to from main train station and easy walk into main square

Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, beautifuly decorated rooms with great bed linens and bath products. The host, Kurt, is so gracious and helpful with tips on things to see and places to eat. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! We could not eat breakfast the second day because of our flight time and Kurt made us breakfast to go and left it in the fridge for us. Everything is so well designed and thoughtfully arranged. Truly a 5 star place to stay!

A hidden gem in Mechelen

Ssshh - this is the best kept secret in Mechelen. Book it for the fantastic spacious rooms, the comfy bed, the shower and toiletries. Alternatively book it for its sustainability, low energy use, home made granola, local cheese etc. Finally book it as the outstanding hosts make you feel truly welcome.

This is where you want to stay in Mechelen. 25 minutes from Antwerp and 25 minutes from Brussels. Amazing ice cream at the Cacao Project. Lovely host, who is happy to give you lots of terrific sightseeing and dining options. Beautiful.

This one of the best B and Bs I have ever stayed in. Delightful in every respect. The room was large and comfortable, and stylishly fitted out with up to the minute mod-cons. The hosts Kurt and Michael were incredibly welcoming and friendly, they gave me a great restaurant recommendation, and put on a wonderful breakfast. Extremely convenient for the railway station. Mechelen is a real gem of a town. Thank you again for a lovely stay. David

We zijn verrast door de oude en erg aantrekkelijke binnenstad van Mechelen. Maar Kurt en de accomodatie met het heerlijke ontbijt maakte ons weekend onvergetelijk! Niet alleen gastvrijheid en service waren bijzonder, ook de persoonlijke "touch" van Kurt hebben een diepe indruk achter gelaten. Gaan we zeker herhalen!

Top weekend

Warme ontvangst bij inchecken. De gastheer is een persoon die dit echt met hart en ziel doet. Je wordt als gasten echt in de watten gelegd en niets is teveel gevraagd. De kamer wordt bij een langer verblijf elke dag gepoetst. Het ontbijt is verzorgd en echt lekker. Een aanrader voor iedereen!

Pretty much the perfect place to stay in Mechelen. Awesome location. Fabulous owners. Beautiful room. Great breakfast. Literally nothing to complain about, and please understand how difficult this is for a Brit, as complaining is our national hobby.

部屋への入り方

現地にフロントはなく呼び出しホンを使って入り口のドアを開けてもらう必要があり、また自分の部屋を教えてもらう必要があり、部屋に入るまでが分かりづらいです。鍵は２つあり入り口のドア用と部屋用の２本理解するまで少し時間がかかりました。あとパッと見ホテルのように見えないので入り口の外観を調べて行くのが良いです。

J'y retournerai certainement!

Séjour nickel. Bon prix, chambre confortable, franchement rénovée, bien décorée, très propre. Le déjeuner est copieux. Les hôtes sont accueillants et avenants. Un cocktail de bienvenue est offert. Internet sans fil de bonne qualité. Les chambres sont à l'étage; pas d'ascenseur. Le quartier est bien; 500m de la cathédrale de Malines, où se trouvent plein de beaux restos. N'oubliez pas de prendre rendez-vous pour que l'hôte vous accueille. J'avais négligé ceci; mais ils ont été plus qu'accommodants.
