Great location, friendly staff but outdated rooms

The location of the hotel is perfect. Although the hotel is in desperate need of modernisation, the staff made us feel very welcome. They were incredibly friendly. But the rooms were outdated and tatty.

This is a great hotel in Antwerp. It’s pretty quiet but I was on the fifth floor and I could hear some street noise. I liked the views and the area around the hotel was great for walking and people watching.

Hotel was exactly what we needed, central, next to a car park with a family room with plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. Room was clean, functional, cool. Only minor issue was the shower door was broken and would not close, it was late when we returned to the room after a day exploring Antwerp so just had quick showers and baths not to flood the room.

Overall really good. Clean and comfortable. Quiet large room, only thing is that rooms are tired and a bit run down. Could use a refresh in the room I was staying in. Overall really good experience. Not 4 star, closer to 3 but good value for money.

5min to shopping street and 7min to tram by walk. There were markets at right outside of the hotel over the weekend It was very convenient to go around. Staff were very nice. Room was big and clean. Definitely recommend.

We were in Room 112. Perhaps this review only applies to this particular room. Our suite (family of 3) was dated, but it did seem to suit the overall feel of the hotel. It was located RIGHT beside the elevator and we heard each time it was used. Outside our window was a parking lot. Luckily it wasn't used by too many cars because we could have reached out our window and touch them. Our beds were uncomfortable. The shower drain was clogged so we had fix it so we didn't flood the bathroom. It was in a walkable area and the staff were nice.

Great service and friendly staff. Quiet room on a higher floor, as requested. Excellent breakfast, offering value for money. - Weird lighting plan without a master switch. TV channels not set up logically. Shower takes a lot of time to heat up, with a leaking hose as well. Curtains do not close completely, quite impractical.

The state of the hall on the 1st floor where our room was located (120) and the walls in the room as well as bathroom and beds do not reflect the 4 star rating. Also super noisy. Breakfast and lobby are great.
