"This property is next-level. From its history to its level of service, you are treated splendidly from arrival to check-out. An example: They noticed a wheel on my luggage that had started giving me problems and proactively asked if they could send it out to a local shop for a quick overnight fix that was very cheap and all arranged by them. My room was stunning and you should check out the free history tour of the bomb shelter adjacent to the pool. You must also try the Charlie Chaplin martini! Staff person Claire was so helpful and friendly getting me situated in my room and their traditional uniforms are so lovely. Also, opt for the breakfast bar at Spice Garden. It is so delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented!"

"The hotel is situated close to the old French Quarter on a busy intersection. It is within easy walking distance of St Joseph's Cathedral and Train Street. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a cool welcome drink and some snacks on arrival. The breakfast room was a little small and can get quite crowded, depending on your timing. The rooms are a little small, but then you are in central Hanoi and it was not a major issue for us."
