โThis is a gorgeous Quinta with exceptional accomodation and staff. The pool was fantastic on a very hot afternoon and evening. The small food menu was perfect to pair with the wine and port produced at Dona Matilde made more special served outside the rooms on tables over looking the Douro river as the sun set. โ
โBeautiful renovated property inside while maintaining the rustic charm of the stone houses that are so traditional in this part of Portugal:) beautiful views overlooking the Douro valley . Right in the center of town and walkable for restaurants :) very friendly staff โ

Le dรฉcor a lui seul rend lโendroit exceptionnel le reste est du bonus! Les serviettes pourraient รชtre changรฉ pour des plus agrรฉables, mais cela ne nous empรชchera assurรฉment pas de revenir, merci pour tout!! โ
โHele mooie plek om te verblijven. Het was alleen jammer dat het leek alsof we tussen drukke periodes kwamen. De mooie tuin stond er een beetje rommelig en verlaten bij. Maar personeel was uiterst behulpzaam en vriendelijk.โ

โAn incredible location but you definitely need a car to get there. Itโs high up in the hills. Narrow roads but easy to find with Google maps.
Host does not speak English but daughters do. Beautiful continental breakfast with sliced meats & cheese, yogurt, cereals and muesli, coffee, tea, jams & cake. โ
โEstadia incrรญvel! Recepรงรฃo muito atenciosa, quarto limpo e confortรกvel, o hotel รฉ esteticamente lindo, parece aquelas casas de filme, muito fofo! Cafรฉ da manhรฃ รณtimo, lugar silencioso e super acolhedor. Parecia que tรญnhamos o hotel sรณ pra gente, piscina vazia e um clima adorรกvel. Nao tem estacionamento, mas na rua do hotel tem um supermercado onde tem convรชnio com o hotel e podemos colocar lรก sem taxa alguma. Voltarei com certeza! โ
โLa propriรฉtaire est charmante, malgrรฉ qu' elle ne parle pas un mot d'anglais ni de franรงais, elle se dรฉbrouille avec son tรฉlรฉphone et nous donne tous les renseignements nรฉcessaires et les bons restaurants oรน aller. Le dรฉjeuner est trรจs bon, un vrai dรฉjeuner familial. L' etat des lieux n' est pas parfait mais l' expรฉrience humaine avec les propriรฉtaires compassent totalement. Une vraie immersion portugaise que je referais sans hรฉsiter. โ
โThe property was breathtaking and the staff was very friendly, pool was amazing I would recommend grab a couple of snacks from supermarket like grapes and cheese but they also have food options, would also highly recommend doing a massage! โ
โThe Chef went above and beyond coming to our table to explain how he created his dishes. The food was excellent. The front desk manager took time to come to our car and help us figure out how to pay the parking since it was all in Portuguese. Saved us!โ
