“The room was pleasant, well furnished, clean and tidy. My only minor complaint would be that for some reason it was very warm in the room which was surprising considering the radiator was turned off and it was late March. The staff are excellent as is the location which is literally a couple of minutes from the Main Street. The breakfast was excellent and made to order with plenty of imaginative choices. I would highly recommend as it is reasonably priced as well. ”

“We booked the hotel due to food being served, when we arrived there was no food during the week and only at weekend which was not reflected on the website. Room was not as described, very small, en-suite had mould all in shower, ceiling and it was dirty. ( see photos below ). Bed was damp, cold, springs had gone in mattress, room smelt of damp, was cold, carpet dirty very worn and overall the room was dirty. Carpets in the hallway was dirty and worn, needs to be updated and some money spent in...

“Gute Lage mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Zimmer ließ sich leider nicht heizen und es war recht feucht. Der Ort hat nicht viel zu bieten aber das Essen im Lobster, dem lokalen Pub ist sehr zu empfehlen. Genauso die Pancakes mit Früchten beim Frühstück, die waren Extraklasse.”

“I would return to Brook Lane in a minute: truly, I couldn’t fault it on anything. Everything is so well considered for guest comfort. I hope to be in Kenmare again, and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. A lovely 5 minute walk takes you to the town centre, yet you feel secluded and safe. Thank you for a fabulous stay.”

“The Park is definitely a worthwhile splurge. Room was well appointed and the staff was warm and friendly. Kenmare is a great backdrop for a wonderful trip. If I had to make a "complaint" it would be that the carpet is so thick and plush it made pulling the wheeled luggage challenging, but that is not a serious complaint. ”
