We had a great stay in Arequipa, and overall this hotel is a solid choice. The biggest highlight by far is the staffโeveryone was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. Theyโre a huge part of what makes the hotel work so well.
The location is excellentโwithin easy walking distance to just about everything in the city.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, though not fancy. One thing to note: many of the rooms have windows that face into interior hallways, which means youโll want to keep the blinds closed for privacyโunless youโre into hallway peep shows from strangers passing by.
The breakfast buffet was good, with a decent variety, but not quite at the level of some other hotels weโve stayed at in Peru. And while the coffee is drinkable, it definitely wasnโt the best weโve had (this is coming from people who really enjoy their morning brew)!
In the end, we think this is a very good place to stay and would absolutely recommend itโjust with a few minor caveats that kept it from being a full 5 stars.
