“From just the perspective of location and staff I would give my 5 days stay here better marks,but so much is wrong. My ground floor room (7) had a window that would only open 2 inches and it overlooked a temporary rubbish dump. I closed it all day as I was worried about rats coming in. I could hear water running down there on many occasions and it wasn’t raining. Also staff went down there to make phone calls and neighbours were noisy. Very hot and no fans. Rooms are cleaned every other day...

“No person in attendance if you had trouble accessing your room. It is really a ‘backpackers’ stay over. Not what I would expect from a hotel. Pay extra to have room made up? My TV receiver was stuck to the window with blue tack! One towel not even a hand towel and a basin in the shower room in which you couldn’t wash your hands without soaking toilet seat and floor. It really was minimalistic, managed because really only needed a bed as was working at the tennis but wouldn’t use it to holiday in...
