A lovely hotel near the station, lake-front and bars/restaurants. We only stayed for one night, but would have happily stayed longer. The staff were helpful, especially in storing our bags before giving us early access to our room. The bed was super-comfy and everything was clean.
Had a great stay at this lovely hotel. Location was amazing… Close to lake and bus/train stops.. The hotel does look a little bit tired, but the staff and location made up for this..
The property is beside a beautiful lake! The waterfront view is excellent! Many restaurants and shops near by! Transportation is a bit challenging, you take a train then transfer to the metro so plan accordingly, once we figured out the system it was great!
Hotel Giordino by Lake Maggiore at Arona was an ideal place from which to stroll by the lake, watch the changing hues and travel further on the lake such as to Isola Madre.
The staff were most helpful and congenial, from check-in to our departure.
Excellent breakfast.
VERY KIND STAFF, NICE LAKE VIEW.
PEACEFUL AREA.
I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN.
IT IS VERY CLOSE TO STATION AND DOWNTOWN.

Convenient for the lake. Near train station 200metres. Near to the ferry station to provide easy access to visit towns around the lake.
Hotel and rooms are in need of refurbishment. Observed some poor hygiene practices. Staff should handle food with tongs not bare hands.
Very central place in the centre of every activity and right on the shore of the lake.
Shopping, excursion boat stop beside to tour the all lake.
Management helpfful, but some kind strict in attitude.

Decent hotel in a great location. Not renovated in quite a while, clean but somewhat dingy decor. Air conditioning did not cool room at all.

Small but affordable
Small hotel in a central location in Arona. Not a fancy place but clean, friendly and affordable. The superior rooms can be recommend. There’s an extra cleaning fee of €10 if you bring a dog.

Best in Arona, but still below average
It is hard to find a real good hotel in Arona, Giardino is a good compromise if You do not want to stay in Stresa. Parking might be a nightmare, hotel has no reserved parking spaces - and only a limited amount of "free parking" badges. Go for the "supreme" rooms with lake view, the other rooms are very very old and impossible to keep clean. They have not been updated for 15+ years and really need renovation. The hotels restaurant is really good.
This is an older hotel in an excellent location. We had paid extra for a "partial view" of Lago Maggiore, but we must have been upgraded since we had a lovely little balcony with a full view of the lake. We really appreciated this because it was kind of cold and windy (end of November) but we were still able to enjoy the view and the sunrise before leaving for the airport to fly home. The breakfast is very nice and we were able to find free parking in one of the large lots down past the railway station, about a 10 minute walk away. As a normal hotel, this property has a full reception, and the staff were helpful in printing our boarding passes and answering our questions. The owners of this hotel should consider replacing/upgrading the showers.
We enjoyed walking along the lake front and having coffee at one of the places along there.
For dinner, I recommend 900 Novocento Ristorante on Corso Liberazione 28. Their food is excellent, the staff nice, and their historic dining room has a cozy fire (in cooler seasons) in a big old stone fireplace. Highly recommended.
The hotel was overall amazing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the property is very well maintained. There is some light wear in the main areas and bathroom, but nothing that takes away from the experience. It still feels very nice, not dated at all, and hits all the important notes. It is also close to everything, making it a very convenient and enjoyable stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Loved the location.
