"It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again "

"The cottage is in such a beautiful setting, there’s a bluebell meadow right outside the back door. There’s also a great dog field just a few minutes walk from the door. Very handy to give the dog a run around after a long drive! The cottage is very clean and tidy inside and very cosy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the log burner as the weather was too nice - not something to complain about though I suppose! We will definitely look to come back in the near future. "

"The Tarbet is a fine old building but has started to deteriorate, the room I requested was a Loch view but could barely see the loch for trees. "I booked this property as part of a 2 week break to visit the Scottish highlands, the hotel is conveniently located next to Loch Lomond and the Arrochar Alps which was perfect for to try some long Hiking routes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was large and spacious with a nice bath. "
