“Friendly welcome and very helpful. Nicely decorated room, well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Good selection at breakfast. Would have been better if maybe you could help yourself to juice, cereals, yogurts and pastries. Nicely cooked, well presented English breakfast although could have done with another egg! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Village of Angmering lovely with few cafes and shops. Excellent base to visit Petworth and surrounding Sussex countryside. Great for visiting...

“We booked here last minute, and what a wonderful choice. The staff were simply incredible and really friendly. We came in a little early to see if we could check in early, and within 15 minutes we were sorted. The bar staff were great, we didn't have to wait for service and drinks and again really helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was perfect! “Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. “Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”
