“The check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was really good. The room we had was on the front with a big window which was lovely but had to draw curtains for privacy in day. The only criticism was that there was a slight sewer type smell on arrival going up the stairs to the room and also in the morning in the bathroom but otherwise we had a lovely one night stay.”

“Very pleasant one night stay, we arrived on a very warm sunny day. We got to our room and found the window open and an electric fan, so we had a cool and very comfortable night. Parking was free and very easy and reception was welcoming. Our only grip would be that you have to go next door, to the services to source your breakfast.”

Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.”

The suggestion that there is a full restaurant service is similarly misleading as, though the kitchen will supply a burger in the evening, which is a meat sandwich, they will not make you a fish finger sandwich, despite that being on the menu, as that is apparently...
