“Wonderful hidden gem of a little hotel. Right on lake laurel we had a beautiful lake view. Rooms were very clean. Decent breakfast. Well Located and close to Lee downtown main st, the Lennox Main Street and Stockbridge as well. Looking forward to returning”

“This nice motel by a lovely creek has great beds (not too hard, not too soft) and quality soaps and shampoos. Breakfast from 8 to 10am includes fresh strawberries and blueberries, oranges, apples, pears, and bananas, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins and toast. Coffee was good plus orange juice and milk were available. And if you are so inclined, fresh baked chip cookies were also available. Service was personal and friendly. The motel is 20 minutes from Bennington...

“The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

“This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure.”

“The price is right. The property is not maintained well. It wouldn’t take much effort to improve it - tidy up and mow/weed wack. The staff was very nice and explained things well. The room was clean and the bathroom was remodeled. The air conditioner worked well. The town is a great place to find food, shops, and history - very quaint.”
