A centrally located Takapuna hotel, with well presented room and all the bells and whistles to make it a comfortable stay, with convenient free parking, would be my first choice again on my next visit to Auckland.

Takapuna Motor Lodge
In a great place with all shops you need nearby, pool and spa seemed a little unclean, beds were made fantastic but the room we stayed in needs a serious upgrade looks nothing like the photo, parking was nice and secure though, staff was helpful

It's an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were all kind and gracious. The bedrooms are spacious. Guests are provided with robes and slippers. We loved that they provided a shuttle to downtown and other places. A 5 overall@

Grand Millennium Auckland
Spacious and very clean room with a separate bathtub. Double-glazed windows and no street noise. Convenient location a 15min walk to the harbour via the town hall square.
