"Absolutely stunning hotel in every way. Superb staff, huge room with really comfortable beds, fabulous views, excellent food. We were a group of 5 and spent 4 nights and would have loved more. The setting is gorgeous, with extensive terraces for lounging around and eating dinner. There's a wonderful heated swimming pool and a tennis court. Everything is quality whilst retaining a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Thank you for such a lovely stay! We thought we had superb value for money."

"The hotel and private car park is next to the old town so it’s perfect for wandering around Salers. The reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. Our room on the first floor was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Tea, coffee and a kettle was provided in the room. The bathroom was clean and modern. The shower was very good and there was plenty of hot water. The dining menu was very good, offering local dishes prepared to a high standard and the table service was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style. The only small criticism is that only orange juice was offered and when I explained I was allergic to it and asked if I could have an alternative, the somewhat grumpy man who appeared to be responsible for restocking the buffet said no, I’d have to pay for that as an extra! Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return."

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
