"The Heritage Hotel is located in the heart of Hallstatt, a city that has lost its soul. Please do not go to this city or this Hotel. The Heritage and its staff, especially the manager, know they have you trapped in a facade of a city. The managers/staff demeanor and service are indicative of someone who has a captured audience. Hallstatt is as authentic as Disney Land and any true traveler would want to escape upon arrival. Parking is nowhere near the hotel (almost a mile) although it appears to have parking in the photographs. If you’re looking for a beautiful Austrian experience leave Hallstatt out of your plans and stay at hundreds beautiful places near by."
