"This hotel says it has a 24hr desk in the info. We arrived at 10pm and there was nobody there. Nobody answered the buzzer or the phone. When we contacted hotels.com they said they could not reach the hotel and could not confirm that we didn't stay there, so they refused to give us a refund... even though we booked another hotel the same night from hotels.com. I was expecting a sincere apology but instead have to go through the trouble of disputing this with my credit card. Crazy."

"The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"We booked a room and they gave us a different room with a smaller bed, we were on our honeymoon and they refused to compensate for their mistake. Instead offered a different room for 1/3 nights and 2 drinks from the bar which was a joke my wife and I don’t drink which they didn’t even bother to ask. Nicole and Sara were incredibly kind and couldn't do enough to help us with info on places to visit and otherwise.
