Sweeney 2 Family Stay

We stayed for 2 nights and had 2 rooms, the Sweeney 2 was in a perfect location, its clean, its tidy, its convenient, what else do you need. Delaynes Restaurant which is within the same building is beautiful, make sure you book though as it’s always busy

Modern self serviced accommodation

Self serviced rooms which are beautifully presented and super clean. The room also had a fridge and was stockedvwirh a couple of bottles of water. The bathroom was bright and modern with a large window. The location was perfect

We enjoyed our stay at The Park. The only downside is the walls between the rooms are paper thin and we didn't sleep for two nights due to the adjoining room talking and having the TV on til late. We enjoyed the stay otherwise and the location is great.

Squeaky floorboards & noisy central heating

Hotel is ok for the money paid, check-in is seamless and staff we saw were very polite. Comfort-wise the bed was great but the floor in the room (Room 7) needs some serious repair work, it has an insane amount of squeaky floorboards throughout which is honestly infuriating when moving around. On the second night there was a strange loud noise that droned on all through the night and i barely slept, we nearly left the hotel because of it to be honest. Unsure what it was but it sounded like a central heating system that is in poor condition.

Nice clean guest house

Nice, clean guest house. Modern room. Tea and coffee facilities and a useful fridge. Down side is that there are no staff to talk to and not much room for hanging clothing etc. We stayed 3 nights and had to keep our suit case in the bathroom. There is a restaurant down stairs that we didn't use as preferred to opt for more reasonably priced breakfasts.

Lovely family stay!

Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite and plenty of glasses/plates etc. We had a really lovely stay and the only small suggestions I would leave would be the low shower pressure, the inability to control the heating of the suite (apologies if i just didnt come across the controls) and the sofa bed wasnt overly comfortable. Everything else was brilliant and made for a great getaway in Aviemore. Would recommend and would return.
