"Property is nice enough. Rooms were actually pretty nice and bed was super comfy. Room was not ready at check-in time. There were several of us not able to check in on time. They also charge for parking which is always a turn off for me. They own the lot, no one uses it for beach access. Why charge extra? When I pushed on it and reminded them my room was sent ready, they agreed to waive the parking fee. The restaurant as closed for repairs. "

"Room was very spacious, 2 beds . Big boy tub and bathroom area . Breakfast is excellent, egg casserole, chocolate crosissant, and all types of expresso etc. Left my purse on my chair at breakfast and a staff person found it and called me 😊❤️!"

"The room and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well manicured, the staff at the front desk was super cool and helped me with using pre paid cards for the payment. The housekeepers and groundskeeper were super nice and were very helpful and professional. The location of the hotel was very nice, easy access to the beach, shops and fine dining. The pool was very clean and heated, they also had a hot tub. Avila Beach is a great place for home base to access Pismo Beach, Cambria, Hearst Castle and San Luis Obispo. Bob Jones trail is a great walk or bike trail, just another bonus for the area. "
