An epic view of lake Garda is from the top of Monte Baldo. Unfortunately, due to low clouds, I do not have a photo of this. But I do have a good and unknown tip for you. normally everyone goes to the top with the cable car from Malcesine. this is an expensive ride (€ 25 euros) and in the summer there are queues of a few hours. with about an hour drive through beautiful mountains and nature, you come to the point where I have placed the pin. "Spent a week here over new year. From first meeting the reception team we were made to feel at home. Ideally located only minutes from all of the major attractions within a few minutes walk. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The whole place is spotlessly clean and our studio was spacious with great facilities. We had a couple of breakfasts delivered at a time we wanted and is well worth the €9 charge. We had to check out by 11 but our flight wasn’t until 6pm and the reception team kept our luggage safe so we could enjoy our final morning at leisure. "
