Aylesbury, England hotel rooms at the Jurys Hotels

"Not really one for leaving reviews. Especially negatives ones but this was truly awful. We arrived pretty late on the Thursday night so the bar was closed, which is fair enough. Tried the vending machine to get some drinks for the evening and it didn’t work. Again, these things happen. Hard to know if the tap water is ok without drinking water labels on the taps. Normally it means don’t drink if it doesn’t say drinking water. Again small things that aren’t really issues. We had a family room. The sofa bed was shocking. So uncomfortable. Was literally like lying on springs. It was so bad we let the kids stay on the proper bed and we stayed on the sofa bed. Shocking night sleep. Got up, went for breakfast just after 7am. Ran out of plates and folks. Eventually the plates came out but 3 times I went back and still no folks. No mugs for hot drinks, only disposable cardboard cups…which they ran out of. Wouldn’t stay again if flying from Heathrow and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Luckily I had £60 credit in the Expedia account so the room only cost £21 for the night…still overpaid. "
