"Our initial welcome at check in could have been a bit more friendly.
The room was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was great - the food was a good standard, loads of choice and absolutely fantastic service from the waitress.
My only gripe was regarding the parking. For a start it's a sharp turn getting through the barriers and I scuffed the front wing slightly which was annoying. Then the instructions for payment referred to 'day visitors' but not 'overnight visitors' so I didn't know whether to pay at the machine or what, given the amount of notices that warn of tickets! Thankfully I was right not to pay, instead I just needed to give reception my reg number and pay them directly.
I'd happily stay here again safe in the knowledge that I know how to navigate the parking!"
"Hugely disappointed with the male receptionist who gave me an adjoining room on two occasions despite me specifically not asking for one. Second time he gave me the room knowingly without advising me that it was still adjoining and when questioned the next day, told me that was the last of the rooms. When I asked him why he didn’t tell me that at the point of giving me the key so I could have gone elsewhere to stay, he was unapologetic and just didn’t respect the fact he’d lied to me and that I’d not slept all night. This was due to a previous scary experience at an alternative hotel and the fact I could hear the guy next door snoring and making awful noises all night.
I barely slept and had to wedge a chair against the door handle out of paranoia.
Tbh I should have received a full refund for purposely being misled and an apology."
"Very spacious and comfortable family room with a beautiful rainforest shower head in a massive shower. We slept very well and felt very at home. We also really enjoyed the spa facilities and swimming pool. It felt like we were on holiday although it was only a 1 night work trip. I would definitely stay again."
"We stayed for two nights 4th and 5th June as we were attending a wedding elsewhere on 5th June. The first night was fine but on the morning of the 5th the hotel advised we would have to move rooms as they had a wedding at the hotel and the bridegroom had specifically asked for the room we were staying in. We agreed to pack our stuff up and the hotel would move to the alternative room when we left for our wedding at 1.30. All through the morning we kept getting calls from reception asking when we would be ready to move as the bridegroom had arrived and the cleaners needed to clean the room. The cleaners came to the door, another guest came to our room and reception told us we would incur a late checkout fee although we were stayin that night!! When we returned from our wedding at about 12.30 the roome key did not work for the new room and it took reception 3 attempts to give us access to our new room. This is definitely not the service expected from a hotel of this class."
"Enjoyed our two nite stay, convenient and centralized location, staff was friendly and helpful, no elevator so bellman had to lug our heavy luggage up the stairs, beautiful view of the Thames from the patio !"
