“The only option to stay in this area this night. The hotel seemed surprised to see us but they were accommodating when we explained we had pre booked. I can’t fault their willingness to help eg providing a modem in our room to access the internet but it was like staying somewhere that had closed down several weeks ago after the end of the season. No hot water but by then we were ok with that. They didn’t charge us the full amount so as a travel experience it was memorable. The lesson I...
