We used this for a transit between Milan and Munich but would stay longer on a future trip. Lovely hotel in a charming town in picturesque rural Bavaria. Would be a great base for walking in woods or mountains.

This hotel would have been a grand experience a few years ago -- she is a little tired now but still lovely. Not realising that the hotel is in one building and reception and breakfast was in another was a bit confusing - but we had the help of some other guests to help us find it!

I would never stay in this hotel again. 1) When you arrive at Hotel Kolbergarten, it looks like it is closed -- no lights on, no signs of life. 2) After you wander around for a few minutes, you find a small sign that says you have to check in for your hotel at a different hotel. 3) Once you figure out where this other hotel is and how to get there, you have to deal with them taking (and keeping) all sorts of unnecessary personal information.... after waiting 20 minutes to be helped. 4) Once you pay your "tourist tax", you have to make your way back to the dark hotel. 5) ... that is unless you have to park a car, which requires you to find and park in a public lot. 6) When you checkout, the staff are overwhelmed, which means you again have to wait for 20 minutes to be helped or you just leave a key at the front desk and hope for the best. On the plus side, the breakfast was good... but it too is in the other hotel.

Das gesamte Haus wirkte ein wenig außergewöhnlich und aus der Zeit gefallen. Das Interieur ist bewusst auf alt gehalten. Das muss man mögen oder zum Schwesterhotel Kolberbräu wechseln, da ist es moderner. Ich hatte ein sehr großes Zimmer, dessen Badezimmer auch schon z.T. renoviert war. Die Bilder auf der Homepage hatten mich bei der Buchung erst etwas abgeschreckt, aber der Preis war sehr annehmbar. Insgesamt bin ich sehr positiv überrascht gewesen. Einchecken und Frühstück ist beim Schwesterhotel Kolberbräu. störte mich aber nicht. Also Fazit: Lage super, Zimmer super, Personal sehr nett und zuverlässig. Und das inkludierte Frühstück hatte alles, was man von einem Inklusivfrühstück in einem *** Haus max. erwarten kann: Eier, frische Brötchen vom Bäcker, frisches Obst, Müsli... Wer da was zu meckern hat... könnte ich nicht verstehen. Noch mal vielen Dank an das Personal für schöne vier Tage

Det er ikke tilladt at holde ved hotellet men vi bliver henvist til en offentlig p-plads med en p-tilladelse - ikke beskrevet ved bestilli g hvor der var lovet parkering på stedet. Der er ingen aircon på værelset og det var meget varmt. Morgenmad kan ikke indtages på stedet men skal foregå på søsterhotel 250 m væk - kort distance men ikke det der var beskrevet ved bestilling. Ukomfortable senge.

Ein älteres Haus in der Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und gepflegt. Etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstuck ist ordentlich.

Bokade detta men hamnade på nyare som var grymt

Vi bodde på det hotellet som ligger vid gågatan. Bokade detta men då det är samma ägare hamnade vi på det nyare hotellet. Viket var av väldigt hög klass. Rent fräscht och otroligt fint samt mycket bra och trevlig service.

Ideale Unterkunft nahe der Altstadt

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, grosses Zimmer, gute Matratzen im grossen Bett, alles hell, freundlich und sauber gepflegt. Im Stil der Grosseltern eingerichtet, alles in Ordnung. Badezimmer zweckmässig, neue Dusche in der Badewanne. Frühstück einfach aber genügend. Einchecken im Stammhotel Posthotel Kolberbräu vis-á-vis. Parkplatz beim Hotel gegen Gebühr. Altstadt ideal zu Fuss erreichbar. Alles in Allem haben wir unseren Kurzaufenthalt genossen und eine Zeitreise in die Jugendzeit der Grosseltern gemacht. Wir hatten das Eckzimmer 201, es gibt keinen Lift.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt gerade noch ok,

Wegen der guten, zentralen Lage und fehlender Alternativen zum Jahreswechsel hatten wir dieses Hotel gebucht. Wir bekamen zwar einen Parkschein für den benachbarten öffentlichen Parkplatz, der jhedoch am Sylvesterabend voll war. Nach einigem Gesuche fanden wir eine Parkmöglichkeit. Das Einchecken erfolgte bei einer anderen Location, so dass wir selber den etwas versteckten Eingang suchen mussten. Das Hotel ist zwar bewusst im "alten" Stil eingerichtet und ausgestattet, jedoch war zumindest unser Zimmer renovierungsbedürftig: Der Teppich war heruntergekommen, einige Möbel zeigten deutliche Abnutzunmgsspuren. Das Sofa, dass vor einem viel zu hohen Tisch stand, war mit einer merkwürdigen weißen Decke belegt. Duschen war nur im Sitzen möglich, weil die Badewanne keinen Spritzschutz hatte. Insgesamt ist das Hotel für die Ausstattung zu teuer.

Nettes Hotelzimmer , direkt im Stadtzentrum

Zimmer War ok. Leider War das Zimmer nach hinten raus und man hatte nur ein Blick auf ein Dach und ein Nebengebäude. Ausserdem waren wir über Küche und hatten einen ständigen Essensgeruch im Zimmer. Auch der Teppichboden ist in die Jahre gekommen mit erheblichen Abnutzsspuren.
