This is a very well run hotel with excellent staff. Location is not ideal as there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance which is why my partner and I went half-board ( we were there for 3 nights ) - that was a bit of a mistake as the food was not inspiring, there was a distinct lack of choice, no labelling on the serving dishes ( so we couldn't really tell whether something was chicken or pork ), and the restaurant didn't open until 20:30 ( bit late for a Brit ). Would we stay again? Probably not, at least not for 3 nights but the hotel itself represents incredible value for money.

Really pleasant stay!

We were blessed with an upgrade to a suite - fabulous pool, dinner (a reasonable buffet on the night that we were there) and really good breakfast. Really pleased with our stay and only a few miles from Badajoz and it’s attractions and history.
