"Great access very easy to use virtual door keys. Clean and tidy place to stay quite fresh. Aircon was amazing. The area outside was quite smelly but I put this down to old fashioned sewerage pipes in the area. There was a only a few shops open when we arrived however this was expected. We managed to get some bottled water and snacks for the room at the house that we arrived however would have been nice to not have left the room at that time. However we enjoyed our stay here."

"Great room with a fantastic and comfy king bed. Good amenities throughout and everything you'd need for a good stay (including a Nespresso machine and clothes steamer!). The pool spaces filled up quickly in the mornings but there was plenty of other seating alternatives. We were staying during Primavera Sound and enjoyed the extra activities, though they only put 2 vans (of 7 seats each) to take you to the festival so not enough for the amount of people needing them. The walk however was only 10/15mins - so not too bad even though they made you go the long way around. Pool food was good and service was relatively quick considering how busy it was! WOuld stay again depending on price for next year"

Hotel Vincci Maritimo

"We had a very pleasant stay at Vincci Maritimo. We looked for a hotel close to the Convention Center to combine my work trip with our anniversary celebration and Vincci Maritimo seemed like the best option. We were right. The hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful. They surprised us with balloons and pastries in our room and a very sweet congratulations note from the hotel management. It was a very nice gesture and showed that they care about their guests. The room and the whole property was clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. I probably would not have chosen this location had I not had a conference at the Convention Center but I'm very glad that we ended up staying in this area. It is quieter and has a more relaxed feel than the city center. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the beach (which will be much nicer once the construction on the waterfront ends), and there are many nice restaurants and coffee shops around with great food. The metro is just around the corner making sightseeing very easy. Poblenou which is a livelier (yet still relaxed) area is only a 15-20 minute walk. We tried the hotel's breakfast on our last morning and it did not disappoint. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Barcelona. Thank you for a great stay!"
