"Green Cottage is ideally located for Bailan beach and restaurants. There is a swimming pool which is small but clean. Delightful views of the bay. The shower provided only cold water, fortunately the weather was hot. Green Cottage is a low cost and good value option. Fan cooling as standard, aircon available at extra cost."

The beachfront is more aesthetic as it's very rocky, so not the type of beach you can swim in or enter. "We had an amazing week here as a family. The property is at the end of an incredible beach- you have to walk to the next resort to access the sand but it’s only a 2 min walk away. The breakfast had loads of great Thai and English options and the cleaning staff made the room beautifully clean and tidy again every day. But the absolute highlight for the kids was that the elephants walked past our room/the restaurant and the beach at least 6 times a day and would often stop to wave and trumpet at them! Magical! "
